MARCH 3

Outdoor Family Night

WHITNEY MESA RECREATION AREA

Celebrate National Unplugging Day at the Whitney Mesa Recreation Area with your friends and family. Enjoy a staff-led hike around the Mesa or join our range master at the archery range.

 

The evening will conclude with stories and s’mores by the campfire. Registration is $5 per person and includes archery equipment and s’mores.

MARCH 11-15

Spring Break Fun Day

VALLEY VIEW RECREATION CENTER

Join in on sports, arts and crafts, video game challenges, edible art projects and other spring break activities.

 

Each day will feature a new theme, project or activity.

Registration is $2.

MARCH 15

Pot O’ Gold - In Search For The Lost Treasure

HENDERSON MULTIGENERATIONAL INDOOR POOL

Leprechauns lost their gold at the pool. Search for their lost treasure and other St. Patrick’s Day-themed activities throughout the night.

 

Registration is $5.

MARCH 15-17

St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Parade

WATER STREET PLAZA AND ALONG THE WATER STREET

The luck of the Irish returns to Water Street! The popular three-day festival features authentic Celtic entertainment, a parade, amusement rides and games, Irish whiskey tastings, food, and a car show.

Festival and parade is free for attendees with ride and game tickets available for purchase.

Bird Preserve
Egg-cellent Adventure

BIRD VIEWING PRESERVE

Enjoy some time in the outdoors on our self-guided egg hunt at the Bird Viewing Preserve. Registered participants receive a map and sticker set before they scavenger around the preserve to find eggs. Completed maps can be redeemed for a designated prize in our Bird Preserve Gift Shop. You must be registered to receive prize. Registration is $5.

Dog Gone Spring Fun!

HERITAGE BARK PARK

Bring your dog and come spend the morning with us at Heritage Bark Park. Participants will get to interact with the Easter Bunny and take a photo with their pups. We will also have festive treats, pop up agility courses, activities for your pups to enjoy! Registration is $7 per dog when purchased in advance and $10 the day of.

Spring Carnival & Hoppity Egg Hunt

WHITNEY RANCH RECREATION CENTER

Celebrate spring with our annual Spring Carnival at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center. It's fun for the whole family with a DJ, carnival games, bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, refreshments and so much more!  Children ages 1-10 years and parents can participate in one of the age appropriate Hippity-Hop Egg Hunts. Entry fees is $10 per person when purchased in advanced and $15 the day of.

Egg Dive - Looking for something “eggciting” to do?

HERITAGE PARK AQUATIC COMPLEX

Dive for hundreds of eggs that are hiding in our pool. Children will compete against others in their age group to gather the most eggs for prizes and treats.  Don’t forget to bring a basket to collect your eggs. Everyone attending the event must register, including non-swimmers. Children 2 years and under are free. Registration is $5 when purchased in advance and $8 the day of.
